Lehmann – Man of the Match

At the end, it was a battle between the two stronghold defenders. Franco, the substitute goal keeper of the Argentina side, tried hard to deny the Germans their well deserved glory, but failed miserably. On the other hand, Lehmann became the true Man of the Match by saving two penalty shots.

Honestly, I didn’t like Lehmann very much, for his performance in Arsenal was quite unstable until the last season. But when he blocked the last penalty shot from Cambiasso, Lehmann had won my approval.

Well done, all players. Well done, Klinsmann. Now let’s kick some Italian Butts!
