The World Cup is finally over. In the last few weeks, my life was as chaotic as hell. Because I live in Hong Kong, that means I have to stay up very late in order to watch the matches. The next morning after the match was painful, with all the headarchs and all the works needed to do. But hey, it is the World Cup! You don’t see all the greatest players getting together to play very often. So, I think it is worth it (Although I wasn’t very happy about England being kicked out of the tournament in such a disgraceful way). Well, now I just have to get back to the real world. But I am already looking forward to the next World Cup in South Africa.

Farewell, Zidane
七月 10, 2006It was a disappointing match. Well, it started pretty cool with Zidane finished the penalty shot with style. And both teams played fairly well throughout the 90 minutes. Then it came the extra-time. I have no idea what the world was Zidane thinking? In just a few more minutes the World Cup Final would be resolved in Penalty Shots, why he had to head-bump Materazzi? What did the Italian say that had provoked him to give up the World Cup title? I might not be the biggest fan of Zidane, but I’d always respected the former Mr. Soccer. I am deeply disappointed by his stupidity in his last match.

Musai-Class Class Light Cruiser of Zeon
七月 2, 2006Last night I got the 1/400 Musai from Wonderland for HK$488. This kit normally would cost $750, so I think it is a very good bargain. I will put some photos in here asap.

England will be back, I promise you that!
七月 2, 2006Well, I don’t know about the others, but I am devastated by the results of the last two matches. England may not deserve to win the World Cup this year, but I didn’t expect them to get kicked out so soon. Rooney got a red card just because the referee was too dumb to blow the whistle to stop the bloody chaos. And as a result, the England players had to fight with ten men. By the beginning of the penalty kick, most players would be too tired to concentrate. Personally, I think the referees this year are not doing a very good job.

Lehmann – Man of the Match
七月 1, 2006At the end, it was a battle between the two stronghold defenders. Franco, the substitute goal keeper of the Argentina side, tried hard to deny the Germans their well deserved glory, but failed miserably. On the other hand, Lehmann became the true Man of the Match by saving two penalty shots.
Honestly, I didn’t like Lehmann very much, for his performance in Arsenal was quite unstable until the last season. But when he blocked the last penalty shot from Cambiasso, Lehmann had won my approval.
Well done, all players. Well done, Klinsmann. Now let’s kick some Italian Butts!

MS Igloo: 0079 Episode 2
六月 30, 2006
Just finish watching the second episode of MS Igloo: 0079. It is clear to me that this side story regarding the One Year War is far superior than any of the recent Gundam Seed Series. It actually recreates the sad atmosphere of the original Gundam series. Unlike Gundam Seed, MS Igloo does not need super robots nor huge bouncing breasts to attract audiences. After being disappointed by Gundam Seed Destiny, I feel lucky that the Gundam Universe that I love so much did not die with it.

Germany Vs. Argentina
六月 30, 2006Hey, tonight is THE big night. Normally, I would say the South Americans have the upperhand. But after watching the Deutsch in their last four matches, I now strongly believe they will be the ONE. Good job, Klinsmann!

Gunpla
六月 30, 2006Welcome to GNT, which stands for Gunpla for New Type. Well, I know the name is a little bit lame, but I feel like it. Anyway, as the title clearly stated, this is a blog about Gundam Plastic Model. From now on, I will write about my model making progress and all the interesting news regarding gunpla.
